What are Microbiomes and why should I care?
The Microbiome is the collection of all microbes, including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and that naturally live within and on our bodies. These microbes play an important role in many aspects of health and wellbeing. Research suggests the microbiome may influence aspects of physical and mental wellbeing. Supporting a healthy, diverse microbiome is increasingly recognised as one part of maintaining overall wellbeing.
The recipes, nutrition guidance and support are designed to encourage dietary patterns associated with a healthy, diverse gut microbiome.
The microbiome forms an important interface between our bodies and the environment. Research continues to explore how gut microbes interact with components of our diet and environment, and how these interactions may influence health.
